My 2009 Photo Review [part two]

I'll finish up the second half of 2009!

My mom and sister drove back to Minnesota, and we went up to my godfather, Kevin's, cabin in Longville. Megan and Laura came with. We had so much fun, and it was great to go back to a place that we went to every summer growing up!

We went boating and tubing!

And we enjoyed some beautiful Minnesota sunsets :)

In August, Luke and I drove back to Colorado with my mom and sister. We did a lot of hiking while he was out. So beautiful!

We finished up our trip with white water rafting. It was a blast!!!

Back in MN, I went to a going away party for my good friend Heather. Luckily, she's moving back for this next semester! Yay!

Jake came back from West Point again at the end of summer, and Luke and I went on a double date with him and Ali to the Renaissance Festival. It was really hot that day, but fun nonetheless.

Laura, Megan and I went to the Deer Creek Orchard. We handpicked pumpkins, fresh apples, and picked up an apple crisp mix and pumpkin bread mix. They turned out great. :)

We went to our annual Halloween Party! My costume was my favorite yet! :) I was a retro pin-up mechanic. I was so happy!

Megan turned 21! She had a hard night, and let's just say she took a bit of a break following. Her and the couch did become pretty close the following day. Here's her with her first legal drink!

My awesome Uncle, flew me home to Colorado for Thanksgiving to surprise my family!

My roommates and I put up our tree in our apartment to cheer it up!

We went to Minneapolis for the Holidazzle Parade. It was so much fun! Minneapolis is so beautiful. :)

So, this is my year in review. Looking back, I did so much this year, and I am so thankful for all of the great people I have in my life. :)

My 2009 Photo Review [part one]

I've seen this on quite a few blogs now, and I just couldn't resist! So here goes:

Luke turned 20!

I took my first trip of the year to Colorado. Megan came out too, and we went up to Estes Park, CO. It was so beautiful.

I completed my first 10K!!! The BOLDER Boulder, with Megan, my mom, and my sister (Haley)!

We did some hiking up the Flatirons in Boulder, CO. So gorgeous. :)

My birthday! Tip: Don't go to Valleyfair (an amusement park in MN) with a hangover. The Xtreme Swing will get you everytime.

Luke's family took me with them on their vacation to the East Coast!! First stop was Gettysburg, PA.

Atlantic City, NJ =]

We went to New York City and went to the usual "tourist" sites including, Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, Little Italy, and Times Square :)

Then we went to Philadelphia. I was so excited because there is SO much history there. I even got to see the very chair that George Washington sat in. (history-geek alert haha)!!

In July, my roommates (Megan and Laura) went to the Green Day concert =] We got there early to wait in the general admission line. Don't worry we were prepared. haha.

After a LOOOONG day of waiting, we made it...FRONT ROW!! :D Best day ever.

Thanks so much for looking at the first half of my year in review! I'm sorry that it's so long, and I still have a half a year to do! This is really fun though. If anyone else did something similar let me know! I would LOVE to see yours. :) I'll post the second half tomorrow!
