today was a perfect, laid back christmas eve.
we woke up early to start baking goodies.
cookies, bars, you name it, we made it.
after opening presents with the family, we went on a walk with the dogs to look at all of the pretty neighborhood lights. it feels so festive, even if their isn't any snow here.

omg! having spent 8 of my christmases in minnesota and the rest in iowa, it's SO incredibly strange seeing a christmas without snow! it almost doesn't seem right!
