This weekend was wonderful, and I tried to enjoy as much of it as I could because it is my last weekend off for a month. I don't even really want to think about it because I'm not happy about how many hours I got the last month of the semester. But I won't bore you with details because there's nothing you or I can do about it. ANYWAYS, back to my weekend. (Did that sound conceited? Oops.) Friday was just like every other Friday. After work I went out for my friend Jack's 21st birthday. It was a lot of fun. I always love celebrating birthdays.
Yesterday, I hung out with Luke for most of the day. We ran some errands including grocery shopping, and then the library. They had an exhibit set up about the midwest and WWII. Us being the geeks that we are were all over that! We are seriously perfect for each other. It was a bit of a disappointment because we ended up showing up for one of the speakers that we had already previously heard in our WWII class. So we checked out a few movies and left. The rest of the day was spent relaxing, and watching tv. I'm a little disappointed in myself for not doing any homework. Oh well, there's always tomorrow. (Wow, spoken like a true procrastinator.) I also found out that my dad, sister and I are going to see Green Day in Colorado in August, which is super exciting!
Today was a great day. After Luke got off work at noon we headed down to his parent's house, and then headed down to his Uncle Paul's for Easter dinner. I honestly love his family to death. Every time I see any of them I'm greeted with such warmth. It's an amazing feeling. We spent most of the day eating amazing food, and chit chatting with Luke's uncles about history and what not. Luke's family history is quite amazing. I won't go into it, but his grandparents and all family prior to them were quite influential in Germany. It was really awesome to listen to his uncles' stories. I had an awesome day with everyone. It was a perfect ending to the weekend.

Oh, and I also recieved my prize from
Strumpets Crumpets. I absolutely love them! Thanks so much Becky!

Hope everyone had an awesome weekend and Easter!
