today was another beautiful day (though it could have been cooler in my opinion). my roommates and i went to down to lakeville to go to the apple orchard. today was the last day that you could pick your own, and we understood why the second we started looking. we ended up finding a few keepers, but most of them were on the ground and molded. so, we ended up just buying a bag of honeycrisps, which are my absolute fave! after we went to the orchard we went and saw life as we know it. it was such a cute movie that definitely made me cry a few times. definitely worth seeing. hope everyone had an excellent weekend.

i love fridays.

today was unreal. the temps got up to 84 degrees! mother nature seems to have forgotten that its october. i guess i shouldn't complain because it could be raining. today was pretty unproductive for me. i worked 9-3, and then hung out with laura. i work again tomorrow morning and then laura, megan and me are going to stay at laura's parents house. then, on sunday we're going to one of the local apple orchards. i'm really excited because it is supposed to be gorgeous outside! just thought i'd do a little daily update, but now i'm going to go watch me some ghost adventures. i loveeeeee zak bagans. :D have a good weekend everyone!

1. paranormal activity: this movie scared the living s**t out of me. after my roommates and i saw it in theaters i couldn't sleep for almost a month. when i would finally fall asleep i had nightmares about it that would then wake me up. great scary movie.

2. creep: this movie is a little messed up, but if you looking for a disturbing horror movie this is definitely one i would suggest. it was gory and terrifying, and seriously creepy...haha perfect title.

3. hocus pocus: this one has a simple explaination...everyone loves hocus pocus.

4. practical magic: this is a great halloween-themed movie, but isn't scary. love it!

5. the fourth kind: alright, this is another movie that scared me to the point where i couldn't sleep. the movie contains "real" footage (i can't find any actual proof either way), but regardless it makes the movie that much scarier.

6. the crow: totally nerdy, but i've loved this movie since i was little and watched it with my dad. it's not really a horror movie or anything, but its still a pretty dark film. plus, brandon lee isn't hard on the eyes.

7. corpse bride: this movie is perfectly creepy and adorable. i LOVE it.

8. edward scissorhands: no explaination necessary.

9. halloweentown: all time favorite disney halloween movie. i think i love it most because it makes me feel like a kid again, despite the fact that at heart i am. i want my kids to fall in love with this film someday just like i did. :)

10. the others: another creepy movie, but at the same time it makes you think too, and the ending is a complete surprise. plus, i kind of just love ghost movies...a lot.
**these are in no particular order. i also am unsure of where i found these pictures so if you have the credits, or want the images removed just let me know!

what are your favorite halloween movies?
i'm always looking for new ones!!

autumn stroll.

today was another beautiful fall day here in st. cloud, mn. the sun was shining and it was perfect cardigan weather. luke and i went on a walk down by the mississippi river, which flows right behind campus. we are so blessed to have such amazing scenery right here for us to take in whenever we want. the path is gorgeous and super private. it was the perfect addition to my already wonderful day. i'm so lucky to have such an amazing boyfriend in my life. i took a few pictures and had to share a few so that you can enjoy the fall colors too. :)
