life has been ridiculously busy for me lately.
student teaching, school, and work have definitely kept me on my toes.
i kind of feel like i'm always going going going,
and i have very little downtime.
two weeks ago, i was lucky enough to go to washington d.c. for the day.
here are a few of the many photos i took:
how is everyone doing?
are any of you teachers? how do you keep your energy up from day to day?
regardless of how tired i am, i am absolutely in love with my 5th grade classes.
they are so eager to learn, and they melt my heart everyday.
i am going to certainly cry on my last day.

What awesome photos- Washington DC is one of my favorite places, there's so much history there! Very fun that you were able to visit. And I hear you on being busy, must be something about the springtime! Hang in there, summer's right around the corner! :)
ReplyDeleteThe first thing the principal told us new teachers was to not forget about our health. Physical energy comes from keeping up a good diet and exercise.
ReplyDeleteMentally, kids can be EXHAUSTING! I can't even imagine what elementary school is like... high school is a different beast, but at least there is a lot more down time where you don't feel like you have to watch the kids. We also get a prep period with a little downtime to recharge. I think overall, you get a system going and it just gets a lot easier!
