since we were little, my family and i have been going up north. for those of you that aren't minnesotan, going "up north" is something very near and dear to the hearts of minnesotans. we head up to cabins or campsites, and spend time on the lakes (this is the land of 10,000 lakes after all) and make memories. my godfather owns a cabin on lake wabedo in longville. we've been going there for as long as i can remember. we spend time on the lake, with friends and family, and enjoying the local shops in town. it's such a special part of my childhood, and i couldn't be happier that we still have the opportunity to head up there.

Lovely photos. Looks like you had a lot of fun. When I was little, we used to camp at the Wisconsin Dells every summer. We've since moved, so I haven't had a chance to go back in a while.
